GENERAL INFORMATION

This mountain bike trek through the High Atlas, across the region where nomads are living, offers all the elements for an authentic experience and the discovery of an untouched Atlas mountain area. This challenging route takes you through a diverse range of landscapes, from towering mountain ranges to the daily life of the nomadic shepherds who call this region HOME. The authentic architecture of the Berber villages adds the finishing touch to this impressive and sporting challenge!

Day 1: France (Europe) – Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls
Day 2: Ouzoud Waterfalls – Sremte Village
Day 3: Sremte – Cathedral or Anergui
Day 4: Anergui or Cathedral – Taghia
Day 5: Taghia – Imilchil Lakes
Day 6: Imilchil Lakes – Rose Valley
Day 7: Rose Valley – Happy Valley
Day 8: Happy Valley – Tassaouet Valley
Day 9: Tassaouet Valley – Skoura Palm Grove
Day 10: Skoura – Aït Ben Haddou – Ounila Valley
Day 11: Ounila Valley – Talouet – Marrakech
Day 12: Transfer to the airport

DAILY DETAILS

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls
Welcome by your guide and immediate departure. A gentle day to visit the Ouzoud Waterfalls and overnight in a guesthouse near the village of Mexicain.

Day 2: Waterfalls – Sremte
Departure from the waterfalls, followed by a warm-up on the mountain bike with a beautiful view of the mountains. After passing Azilal, take a mountain path to the village of Sremte at 2000 m altitude. Overnight in a bivouac.

Day 3: Sremte – Cathedral or Anergui
Option 1: Crossing the mountains, immersing yourself in the Berber world with its shepherds and high pastures. Arrival at the majestic Cathedral Massif (1872 m) for bivouac near the confluence of two rivers.
Option 2: Crossing through the village of Tilguite, a panoramic view of the Bin el Ouidane lake, continuing to Anergui. Overnight in bivouac.

Day 4: Anergui or Cathedral – Taghia
A peaceful day through the Tamga forest and villages along the Zaouiat Ahensal river. Arrival at the Taghia cirque. Overnight in a gîte.

Day 5: Taghia – Imilchil Lakes
Crossing the high plateaus of the Aït Abdi territory. The day ends at the Tislite and Isli lakes in Imilchil. Overnight in bivouac by Lake Tislite.

Day 6: Imilchil Lakes – Rose Valley
Departure towards the Rose Valley via Agoudal and the Tizi n’Ouano pass. Descend by VTT to the valleys of Imsmrir and Dadès, with its kasbahs. Overnight in a guesthouse or gîte in Boutghrar.

Day 7: Rose Valley – Happy Valley
Drive up to the Tizi n’Aït Ahmed pass (3000 m), then descend by VTT to the Ouzighimt Valley and Happy Valley. Overnight in bivouac or gîte.

Day 8: Happy Valley – Tassaouet Valley
Option 1: Crossing the Aït Bougmez valley, then the natural bridge of Imi n’Ifri to reach the Tassaouet valley. Visit the village of Megdaz, classified as Moroccan architectural heritage. Overnight with a local family in Aït Ali n’Ito.
Option 2: Route through the Aït Abasse valley to the Tassaouet valley, with a visit to Megdaz. Overnight in a gîte.

Day 9: Tassaouet Valley – Skoura Palm Grove
Crossing valleys and the Imi N’Oulaouen pass to reach the Skoura palm grove. Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 10: Skoura – Ounila Valley
Visit the Taourirt kasbah in Ouarzazate and the Aït Ben Haddou site (UNESCO World Heritage). After lunch, climb by VTT into the Ounila Valley to the village of Toughza. Overnight in a gîte.

Day 11: Ounila Valley – Marrakech
Return to Marrakech via Talouet and the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Overnight in a riad or hotel.

Day 12: Transfer to the airport
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Marrakech airport.
